Six more weeks of Quilting–I mean Winter.

 In All Posts

What a whirlwind the month of January was.
I spent five days with people from my clan–it wasn’t a family reunion, well not officially–but I did spend five days in Utah with other Handi Quilter Educators where we learned and laughed and grew. If that isn’t the best way to start the new year off right I don’t know what is.

We saw lots and lots of Beautiful Quilts–this is just one of them.

This was made and quilted by Marie Eldridge. I want to be like her when I grow up.

We went shopping (of course) at a travel store–but what did I buy?

Shoes

Aren’t these cute? I wanted something a bit ‘vintage’ looking

We learned so much about Handi Quilter, Quilting and Threads and fabric and all those happy things that makes my heart sing.

We had presentations from some of our sister companies:

Superior Threads

Connecting Threads

Knit Picks

and Quilt Pro Systems..

I’m going to tell you more about each one later–just know this it was fun!  It was tiring!  I came home with a cold to beat all colds.  I spent the rest of the month getting over my cold then going to retailer training right here in Ontario!  It was so much fun-it get’s it’s own blog.
